The game loads into a short tutorial that teaches tap dribble and draw-to-shoot. You can skip it and go to the home screen. From there choose Quick Match or Tournament (Global Cup), then select your nation. Quick Match lets you set difficulty from Level 1 to Level 5 and play a single tie against a random opponent. Global Cup puts you in a 16-team knockout: Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final. Cup difficulty is fixed by round, from about Level 2 in the last 16 up to Level 7 in the final.

On the pitch, tap to dribble and keep the ball. Draw a line to a teammate to pass, or toward goal to shoot. A curved stroke bends the shot. On desktop, a right click plays a pass and a right double-click plays a lofted pass. When you shoot, the action can drop into slow motion so you can finish the line. You attack in 11v11 formations with AI teammates, defenders, and a keeper. You do not manage a full 90-minute clock or an online opponent.

Each match is a set of attacking chances, not a running timer. You start with up to 8 chances. Some cards add one more chance or extra time. The opponent has a target score based on level, usually 1 to 3 goals. You win if you score more than that target before your chances run out. You lose if the chances end and you are behind or level. The results screen shows the score and the stage name. From there you can retry, continue, or, after a close loss, play Extra Time for another chance.

Only goals count. There is no possession meter and no time-based score. Later cup rounds raise keeper reach, shot-stopping, blocks, and sliding tackles, so the same shot that worked on Level 1 will get closed down.

Boost cards sit between matches. There are 14 cards, including easier finishing, harder blocks, harder slides, better pass accuracy, open mid-range shots, side cut-ins, a first-12-second shot boost, plus one max chance, plus one chance player, anyone-can-score, longer slow time, a late-game clutch boost, Extra Time, and a chance-player role. You collect and pick cards to shape the next attack rather than buying loadouts mid-play.

New players should stay on Level 1 or 2, use short passes to open a lane, and draw a smooth curve instead of a flick. Learn one clean pass and one on-target shot before you skip the tutorial. Advanced play is about card setups before a cup final, using cut-in or long-shot cards when the box is packed, dribbling past a slide instead of forcing a first-time shot, and saving Extra Time for the chance that still wins the tie.
